Backed by the full strength of ABN AMRO, BUX combines a modern fintech culture with the security and reputation of an established financial leader.
About the job
To lead our next chapter, we are seeking a Chief Product & Technology Officer to scale our engineering organisation (currently ~40 FTE) and our platform through agentic engineering processes.
As the Chief Product & Technology Officer, you are the architect of our product and technical vision and the engine behind our growth. You will be responsible for driving growth, leading a dedicated team of highly experienced Engineering, Product and Data professionals. This is a critical period of maturation for the business. The right balance of entrepreneurial agility and experience of taking businesses through journeys of professionalisation will be highly sought. You will balance the "move fast" spirit of a scale-up with the "bulletproof" security required of a regulated financial institution. You are a driver, a risk-taker, and a pioneer who views AI not as a feature, but as the foundational enabler of our future.
For the right candidate, this is a unique opportunity: to operate at C-level while remaining close to execution, and to help define the future of investing and wealth-building for a new generation.
Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Management Team, your mission is to ensure our infrastructure is rock-solid and secure while relentlessly driving the innovation that keeps us at the forefront of the fintech domain.
In this role, you will be working and collaborating closely with the BUX Management Team, steering the BUX Product, Engineering, Data and AI departments, and managing internal and external stakeholders.

Our mission is to make wealth building easy and affordable for all.
We do this by keeping a relentless focus on ease of use, supporting and guiding clients in their journeys with intuitive and innovative ways to build wealth for themselves and/or their families. This next growth phase requires further scaling and maturing of our product and engineering organisation, where AI-native development practices are consistently applied, and AI is embedded in our processes, platform and client journeys. You will lead the product and engineering organisation into this new era.
