We are looking for an Operations Officer to join our BUX team based in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will offer key support to the Operations team with all the daily operational tasks and you will contribute to a wide variety of development projects.

Within our team of 5, you will be trained to gain a strong fundamental understanding of the financial industry, concepts and processes in a broad sense. 

The ideal candidate is versatile, ambitious, and a strong team player. Exposure to the financial industry and experience with tools such as Excel/spreadsheets are all a plus.

What you will do

• Monitor and process corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, etc
• Manage and process internal payments and accounts
• Reconcile (align) trades, positions and cash balances
• Investigate and fix trade, position and cash breaks
• Provide trade support to the first line of defence
• Communicate and collaborate with cash, clearing and trading partners
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, business intelligence, finance and customer support

What you need to succeed

• Ability to work in a team
• Eye for detail and quality-driven mindset 
• Ability to work with Excel/spreadsheets
• Based in the Netherlands and willing to work from our office in Amsterdam
• Previous experience working in the financial industry is a plus
